Two from Bengaluru who were travelling in a car to attend the funeral of one of their relatives died after their vehicle fell into roadside Ammaji lake outskirts to Mundagod town in Karwar district on Monday morning.

Raju Vargise and Blessy from Arasinageri were drowned in the lake. They were coming from Bengaluru to attend the funeral of one of their relatives at Mundagod.
