The innocent animals have always been the targets of smuggling for the own benefits, whilst some deal with the huge or wild animals some deal with the small and innocent animals.

An incident of a man smuggling a two headed snake, widely known as ManaMukh snake has come into the notice of the Forest Squad whom they successfully arrested at the midnight by 12:30 Am at Jamkhandi. The team led by the PSI Rohini Patil of Belagavi Forest Squad has successfully arrested the accuser namely Gopinath Hanamant Kavale (22) of Jambagi village of Jamkhandi Taluk of Bagalkot Dist.

The team consisted of the HC 2491 Yarnal, HC 1732 Hiremath, has submitted the detained property to the ACF of Jamkhandi and has taken the accuser into the judicial custody.
