The two proxy candidates that appeared the police recruitment exam on the names of other candidates have been arrested and probed by the Belagavi Police.

On Sunday the DAR/ACR Police Constable Recruitment exam was held at various centers of Belagavi. Out of 6909 candidates only 57 had appeared to the exams. Each at the Potdar Polytechnic and the Jain Polytechnic the candidate appearing the exam on behalf other candidate has been identified. Immediately the proxy candidates were took into custody and the case has been registered at the Tilakwadi Police Station.
