The unanimous selection of the members and the presidents of the various standing committees of the ZP took place at Belagavi in the presence of the Dist. Incharge Minister Ramesh Jarkiholi.

Friday at the central hall of the ZP the selection of the presidents and the members of the various standing committees of the ZP was organized. By the time in the presence of Dist. Incharge Minister Ramesh Jarkiholi, MP Eranna Kadadi, ZP President Asha Aihole, and MLC Sabanna Talwar the unanimous selection of the members and the presidents took place. The Deputy Director S B Mullalli announced the names of the presidents and the members by the time.

ZP Vice President Arun Annu Kantabale has got elected as the president of the General Standing Committee with 6 members under him, whereas Siddappa Apanna Mudkannavar has got elected as the president of the Education and Health Standing Committee with 6 members under him.

The 7 members of Agriculture and Industrial Standing Committee and the 6 members of the Finance, Audit and Planning Standing Committee will be working under the Presidency of the ZP President Asha Aiihole.

At one side the unanimous selection of the presidents and the members of the standing committees was satisfactory for many present over the time on the other side they also raised their eyebrows for the presence of the Ex MLA Sanjay Patil. The question mark on the faces of the members was clearly visible as what is the reason of the presence of the Ex MLA in the program.
