An event of the unveiling of the majuscule blue flag was organized at the Ambedkar Circle of Athani on Sunday. Dhammapal Bhante of Bagalkot, Athani CPI Shankargouda Basangoudar and Mahantesh Badagi unveiled the flag by the event.

It was longstanding demand of the youth and with their efforts the flag stage has been adjusted and the majuscule flag has been unveiled.

Speaking by the Bhante said to fulfill the dreams of Lord Buddha we must walk on the way Dr. B R Ambedkar. The community should unitedly walk towards social and economic development. The youth should give more prominence to the education and be away from the ill habits.
