Bengaluru stands atop the list of highest vaccination drive against COVID-19 in the nation held on Friday. Belagavi stands next to Bengaluru in second number.

Belagavi DC MG Hiremath said as many as 4,09,977 people were immunised the vaccine at Bengaluru while it was 2,57,604 against target of 3 lakh in Belagavi district.

He said though the target was not met, the one-day drive was satisfactory with district stand in second place in the nation snd thanked those worked to make success the drive.
