Insisting to name the Sambra airport as Veerarani Kittur Chennamma, Railway Station as Belawadi Mallamma and the Bus stop as Sangolli Rayanna at Belagavi the various Kannada Organizations appealed the State Govt.

Wednesday the leaders of the various Kannada Organizations met the DC Mahantesh Hiremath and insisted him for the naming of the above noted appeals not just that they even appealed the DC for the establishment of statues of Sindhoor Laxman and Maharshi Valmiki at the center place of Fort Lake. They issued the appeal letter to the govt. through the DC.

Then spoke the president of the action committee of the Kannada org. and said we are fighting since 8 years and we don’t understand what the public officers, MLAs and MPs are doing. We welcome the decisions of naming the Hubli railway station on the name of Siddharoodh Swamiji, but being negligible about the Sangolli Rayanna, and Kittur Rani Chennamma isn’t appropriate. The govt. must awake and submit the respect to the great leaders or else it will lead to a huge protest in the upcoming days.
