Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, referring to Congress MLA Zameer Ahmed’s allegation that government locked Vidhan Soudha and engaged in by-election campaign, said no works were halted, administration functioning as usual, ministers visiting the soudha once in 2-3 days amid campaign.

Speaking to news persons at Vijayapur on Monday, he said as a CM he gave the instructions to ministers. No works halted with the ministers engaged in campaign.

As former PM Devegowda had said both BJP and Congress were trying to finish his regional party JD(S), he said his party concentrate only with it and turn to other parties.

As Zameer Amhed had said BJP has given Rs 10 crore to JD(S) to help it win in the election, he said it was very hard to guess and baseless.
