At the background of the CM B S Yadiyurappa visit to the Vijaypur Dist. flood hit areas and the scientific survey of the crop loss the Vijaypur dist. administration prepares its primary report to be submitted.

According to the primary reports the flood has hit 28 villages and 2543 houses have been waterlogged, nearly 72,543 people are facing hardship due to the rain, 1516 people have been rescued by the teams whereas 12,217 people have been shifted to the safer places. 42 care centers have been established where 1140 families have took shelter.

The crops at 1,60,739 hectors has been destroyed due to the rain that is estimated to be worth 63646.65 Lakh. 4237 m road has been destructed and whereas 77 bridges have been damaged.
