The ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine is the cause to delay to bring the mortal remains of Karnataka Medical student Naveen to state, said CM Basavaraj Bommai.

Speaking to news persons at Bengaluru on Tuesday, he said the carcass of Naveen has been kept in post mortem center. It could be easy to bring the dead body once the temporary ceasefire announced on way stoped. He said he is in touch with Foreign Affairs Minister Jaishankar in this matter.

Naveen from Haveri in Karnataka who was studying in IVth year MBBS in Ukraine killed in the Russian shell attack in the early days of the war. Naveen who along with his collegemates took shelter in a bunker had cameout to get parcel morning breakfast.
