Belagavi City Traffic Police has started ‘Wear a Mask and Drive off Corona’ campaign. Getting hold of the motorists as well as the pedestrians that didn’t wear mask the police noted their names and address and applied masks to them. By this act of traffic police the number of people running without masks has been reduced.

The initiative by the police is getting positive responses from the public and it is really appreciable as the police themselves are applying masks to those who were seen without masks.

The masks were provided to only those who gave their names addresses and the purpose of not wearing the masks. In total the campaign has created a sensation in the city. The police has warned as it is mandatory to wear the mask if failed the serious actions will be taken.
