A woman from Koppal district has got recovered from the coronavirus and discharged from the hospital after 158 days of treatment on Tuesday.

45-year-old Geeta from Bodur village in Yalaburaga taluk of the district tested positive and admitted in the COVID-19 wards at Koppal on last July 13. She was in ventilator for 108 days as 90pc of her lunge was damaged.

Geeta has been advised to be on oxygen at home for some days.
