CM Yeddyurappa tendered his resignation to Karnataka Governor Tavarchand Ghelot at Rajbhavan on Tuesday, July 26, afternoon.A few of his cabinet members were accompanied him. Speaking to news persons after resignation, he thanked people of the state for allowing him to serve them.He specially thanked PM Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh for allowing him to serve as chief minister even after complition of 75 years. He said he would work to strengthen the party as well to the people.
