Just a day after a man from Ranakunde village in Belagavi was murdered at his home on Sunday, a youth from Nippani town was hacked to death at his house in the early hours on Monday.

Abhishek Dttawade residing at Nirale galli was the person who was killed at his house at around 1am. Three people borne on a bike made Abhishek to open the door and soon opened they attacked on him with the iron made weapons, killing him on the spot. Old enmity and financial dispute are believed the cause for the incident.

Hailed from Kolhapur in Maharashtra, Abhishek was staying at a rented house with his mother and was working in a movie theatre in Nippani. He had gone home in the night after the last show was over.

The Nippani Town police are investigating the case.

A gang of 2-3 people armed with iron made sharpe weapon barged in to the house of Bahusaheb Patil at Ranakunde in Belagavi taluk and attacked on his son Nagesh and fled on a two-wheeler which it brought after getting confirmed his death. The gang also assaulted his brother Mohan who rushed to save Nagesh from the attackers.
