Bengaluru, September 24-Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai today said that 100 per cent occupancy would be allowed in cinema halls from October 1, in the districts with less than 1 per cent positivity rate.
He was addressing the media after COVID 19 review meeting held in Vidhanasoudha. 50 per cent occupancy will be allowed in cinema halls in districts with positivity rate between 1 -2 percent and Cinema halls shall be closed in districts with positivity rate above 2 percent.
At least one dose vaccination is mandatory to the audience and pregnant women and children will not be allowed, he said.
Same criteria would be followed to open pubs from October 3, 2021, he added.During the meeting, it was decided to allow 100 per cent attendance for class 6- 12 and classes will be conducted 5 days a week. Night curfew will be in force between 10 pm to 5 am, he said.
Seperate guidelines will be issued for Dasara festivities and strict vigil would be kept in border areas.
Officers were directed to intensify the vaccination drive in Yadgir, Raichur, Kalaburagi and Mysuru Districts and also to take up special IEC programmes to create awareness about vaccination among the public.
