At the hill areas of Swat Dist. at the Northwest of Pakistan a 1,300 old temple has been discovered. The temple is believed to be dedicated to the Lord Vishnu. As per the sources the while the excavation by the archeologists of the Pakistan and the Italy the temple has been discovered at Barikot Ghundaya. The official of the Archeology Dept. of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Fazal Khalik has publically announced this discovery on Thursday.
According to him the temple has been built in the period of Hindu or Kabul administration. Approximately at 850-1026 CE this temple was at the limits Kabul Valley, Gandhar modern India’s Northwest region.
