Since many days due to the heavy rain in the neighboring state Maharashtra, the additional water is being flown to Bhima River, it is being suspected as at the time a man trying to cross river has been swept away. The family members of Ramesh Dundappa Basaragi (25) are being suspicious as their boy might have been swept away along with the bike.

As informed by the family two days back the boy had left to the funeral of the relative along with his father as the weir was overflowing the father got off from the bike, and while Ramesh was crossing the weir he has been swept away by the overflow of water, but the body hasn’t been found yet even after two days of the incident.

The Tahshildar Revadigar and PSI Satigoudar have visited the weir for the inspection, but yet no actions have been taken, the villagers have expressed their anger on the firefighter dept. as there is efficiency of boat and other life saving materials.

The case has been registered in Chadchan Police Station.
