An incident of reproaching an on duty teacher and attacking him in a spree state of alcohol has taken place in the premises of Govt. Higher Primary School at Mugali village of Chikkodi taluka.

A teacher that has been wounded at the incident has registered a complaint against the offender at Chikkodi Police Station on Thursday. As per the offender named Raju Patil in a drunk state has chased a teacher was scolding him when the victim Mahadev Bhajantri had tried to console he has been attacked by the offender.

The wounded teacher has taken treatment at the Civil Hospital after the incident, and today the frightened teachers have met the BEO and expressed their insecurity.
