BJP leader and MLA from Rajsamand in Rajasthan Kiran Maheshwari, who had tested positive for coronavirus, has passed away at the age of 59 at a hospital in Gurgaon.

Kiran Maheshwari was a three time MLA form Rajsamand, and was undergoing treatment at Medanta Hospital at Gurgaon since few days. Due to the failure of the treatment she has passed late Sunday night.

On her untimely demise many leaders including the Rajasthan CM Ashok Ghelot have expressed their condolences.

Taking to the twitter the Rajasthan CM said Saddened to know of the untimely demise of BJP leader & Rajsamand MLA Kiran Maheshwari ji. My heartfelt condolences to her family members & supporters in this most difficult time.
