Bengaluru: A woman banker and her male colleague were beaten up on the road by a few fundamentalists at Bengaluru on Monday evening.

The male banker was dropping his woman colleague on his bike as their work finished late. The woman was wearing ‘Burkha’. A few fundamentalists from her religion saw she was moving on other religion person stopped them and objected their moving. They took the cellphone number of her husband and informed the matter. Her husband told them that the man dropping his wife as a well-known to him.

Despite clarified, the fundamentalists beat them with instruction should not repeat and sent the woman to her house in an auto rickshaw. The incident was recorded in the CC cameras in the vicinity and was viral in social media.
