Acting on the information from a confidential source, the Hubballi CCB police arrested a person carrying 804.1 gram gold without proper documents, receipts on Sunday night.

The team led by Inspector Altaf arrested Chetan Devendrappa Jannu, who hid the gold in his waist belt. He was caught at Girani Chawl. The cost of the recovered gold was estimated to Rs 38.50 lakh which was highest at Hubballi-Dharwad Police Commissionerate in recent days.
