Lakhan Jarkiholi contesting independently to the Legislative Council election from Belagavi local bodies appealed voters to elect him who can available for public work round-the-clock.

Addressing the voters at Patil Garden near Karambal village in Khanapur taluk, Lakhan the youngest among the Jarkiholi brothers told not to trust those come to them only during election and assured them of pleading in the Legislator Council to give more rights to the GPs.

He said he rejected the offer from political parties to contest from their side and decided to contest in-dependently. “My No. in the Ballot Paper is in 5. Write as 1 in-front in the next continued box,” he advised the voters.
