AAP Celebrates ‘Pothole Festival’ at Bengaluru

Bengaluru : To drag the attention of the government toward the pothole on roads at Bengaluru, the Aam Aadhmi Party (AAP) celebrated the ‘Potholes’ Festival’ on Wednesday.

The workers of the party led by State Convenor Pruthvi Reddy and Bengaluru Block head Mohan Dasari decorated the potholes with flowers, put rangoli around the area, conducted pooja in most of the wards in Bengaluru and later shouted slogans against the government.

Speaking on the occasion, Reddy said that the roads in the capital city were in worst condition, thousands of potholes can be numbered, government in last five year has spent Rs 20,060 crore for roads. Accidents have become common, there were many deaths reported for the road condition. An investigation must be conducted on the amount spent on roads and government must release a ‘White Paper’ on it.
