Ajay Adruhyappa Desai the resident of Konnur village of Jamkhandi Taluka globally known as the elephant expert has passed away at the age of 62 on Friday.

Ajay Desai that has worked as an Asian Elephant Consultant at Wild Life India, Consultant at World Wild Fund has been an active member of International Federation of Environment and Resource Conservation. He who has served as Asiatic elephants specialist group co-chairman was widely known as elephant expert.

He who has passed away has left a wife and two children along with the other relatives in a deep pain of his demise.
