Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) employee Rangaraju SA killed on the spot when he stuck to the train at Hubballi Railway station on Sunday night. He was 59.

Rangaraju was travelling back to Bengaluru to attend duty from Monday. He boarded the train heading toward Belagavi instead Bengaluru at Hubballi Railway station. After knowing he was in wrong train he jumped out from the running train and fell to the wheels of the train.

Rangaraju is survived by wife, a son and a daughter.
