Bengaluru : Karnataka Assembly Speaker Vishveswar Hegde Kageri confirmed of holding a winter session at Belagavi in December.

He told news persons at Bengaluru on Monday that the sessions about 10 days would be conducted at Suvarna Vidhan Soudha. It may be recalled here that Karnataka Legislative Council Chairman Basavaraj Horatti was stressed on the need of conducting the sessions in Belagavi, recently.

The sessions was conducted last in soudha in 2018 and was not due to floods,
COVID-19 in rest of the years. The government supposed to conduct at least one session in soudha every year.
