Bikes, Rickshaws Not Allow on Bengaluru – Mysuru Expressway

To maintain the minimum speed limit of the vehicles on Expressway being constructed between Bengaluru and Mysuru, the National Highway Authority of India has proposed to ban two-wheelers, auto rickshaw and tractors on the road.

The 10-line Expressway is expected to be available for usage in 2022, as except bike, tractors and rickshaws move slow, the authority has planned to ban such on the road. However, such vehicles could move on service road beside the Expressway.

There are possibilities of speed moving vehicles to ram the slow moving vehicles from rare side is one of the reasons for preventing such vehicles on the road.
