Burglars made away cash of Rs 40,000 and 11 gram gold ornaments from a woman’s house at Bedakihal village in Nippani taluk on Tuesday.

Laxmibayi Korawa who is residing at Ramnagar in the village had stored the money and ornaments by selling broomstick. She leave home in the morning and return evening everyday by selling broomstick stick on streets and localities.

Knowing her routine work, burglars gained entry into the house by removing the roof tiles and made away her hard earned. Sadalaga police have registered a case.
