Chandrakant Hiremath resident of Chalukya Nagar, Bijapur is no more. He was the candidate for the JDS elections. He has supported the Devegauda’s Janta Dal party when broken down and was a loyal friend of Ex. Prime minister Devegauda. He has served as the  President of Head Contractor Associates of the electricity  dept. Besides, the political activities he has also served for the welfare of the society. Thus, the residents of Bijapur expressed their condolences on the sudden demise.
