Despite many protest from people, organisations and political outfits against the BJP led NDA government over price hike of the essential commodities, the Karnataka Congress rushed down heavily on the government describing it as anti-people, shameless, thicked skinned etc.

The BJP late PM Vajpayee had arrived Parliament to attend session in a bullock card to protest against fuel hike of just 7 paise per liter when Congress was ruling. Now, Congress protest was being critisised by the same BJP, he said.
