Dharward : The noval coronavirus outbreak at SDM college at Dharwad as 66 of 200 students participated in an educational event tested positive.

All the positives, those close near to them, whose reports awaited have been made quarantined. The hostels have been closed. All the students were immunised with vaccine jab.

Dharward DC Nitesh Kumar said the swab of about 500 participated in the event have also been sent for test and they too have been instructed to be quarantined.
