A project plan for the construction of a weir at Vantigudu of Muggur and Hunnur forest area of Ramnagar dist. has been prepared. As soon as the Central govt. approves the project will start, said the Water Resource Minister Ramesh Jarkiholi.

Monday the Minister went to the inspection of the Goat’s Leap project area and there he informed the medias as the project has already got approvals of the Water Power Secretariat. For the approvals of Environment and Forest Dept. he will be appealing the Union Minister Prakash Javdekar.

For the construction of the Goat’s Leap Reservoir the project plan of 9000 cr. has been prepared. To convince about the facts and to put pressures for the rapid approval the minister will be heading to Delhi.
