Including the direct recruitment to the lease workers and direct payment and some other demands the civic workers of the Hubli-Dharwad City Corporation set protest in front of the residence of Minister Jagadish Shetter.

The protesters expressed their anger by uttering slogans against the Corporation and the Officials. They appealed as without any partiality every civic worker should get direct recruited and should receive direct payment as well. Or else will be an injustice. For now the workers have been kept away from the direct recruitment and payment because of the lack of the work records. The protesters also alleged as some have taken bribes regarding this.

Reacting to this the Minister assured of resolving the workers problems soon possible by meeting the officials by his own.
