Former Goa Governor and the BJP veteran Mridula Sinha passes away at the age of 77.


Former Goa Governor and veteran Bharatiya Janata Party leader Mridula Sinha breathed her last on Wednesday that to just 10 days before her 78th birthday.

Mridula Sinha, 77, who was from Bihar and was associated with the Jana Sangh and then the BJP, died on Wednesday. She had also served as head of the BJP’s women’s wing. She was also a prolific writer who started writing short stories on matters pertaining to culture and village traditions. Some of her noted works include Dampatya Ki Dhoop-Chhanh (on marriage), Sita Puni Boli, Ahalya Uvach, Jyon Mehandi Ke Rang, Atishaya.
