Senior Kannada journalist and writer Ravi Belagere known as a gem of journalism and a beast of words died of heart attack in Bengaluru on Friday morning.

As per the sources it is said as he suffered a heart attack at his ‘Hi Banglore’ office and was soon rushed to nearby Apollo hospital where he breathed last.

Born on March 15, 1958 in Bellary of Karnataka Ravi Belagere had worked in several departments of the media. He then started his own paper. Belagere has also authored several crime books. He is also known for his radio show.

On his sad demise many of his co workers and the film starts have expressed condolences.
