At the meet in Chikkodi on Tuesday the Govt. Chief Wipe Karnataka Legislative Council Mahantesh Kavatagimath warned the administrators of Village Panchayat as to establish the solid waste disposal units at all the Village Panchayats by the first week of October and said to report within 15 days about the establishment of the works.
Speaking at the Village Panchayat progress work inspection meet held in the conference hall of Public Works Dept. at Chikkodi the MLC instructed as its PDO’s duty to inform the trusts to maintain the hygiene in their surroundings. He took the Nagarmunoli PDO into charge asking him as why the victims of flood haven’t received the reliefs yet? And why the solid waste disposal unit hasn’t been established yet?
He further took the officer of Chikkodi Agriculture Dept. into charge asking him if the works have been done then why there isn’t any placard about it. He took the Umrani PDO into charge asking him as why any action towards the works of solid waste disposal unit hasn’t been started yet?
He informed all the PDO to start developmental works in a rapid pace under the 15th financial plan. He even inquired about only 300 job cards being active among the 1100 cards.
In total the MLC inferred all the PDO to take rapid actions towards the developments and to report about the works done within 15 days.
