Belagavi : A doctor family from Kolhapur in Maharashtra was taken into custody for misbehaving with police on Sunday.

Dr Swami Nandimath was arriving Karnataka from Maharashtra through Nippani taluk. His car was stopped at Koganolli check post to complete the covid norms. The doctor neither had the covid negative certificate nor RT-PCR certificate which the state made mandatory for those arrive from Saturday. Those with the doctor also behaved aggressively with police.

Dr Nandimath got out from the car, quarreled and even allegedly pulled the shirt of a police personal. As shouting in laud voice and behaving rudely he was taken to the police station
