At the Adibatti Colony of Melavanki road of Gokak under the assumed estimation of 1.30 cr. rupees a complex under the Scheme of Gruha Bhagya has been constructed for the residence of the civic workers. Sunday the Water Resource Minister Ramesh Jarkiholi inaugurated the complex.

Speaking by the time the minister said it has been planned to construct 2 BHK houses for the civic workers of Gokak at 2 acre land. It has been planned to construct through the Slum Board and is looking forward for the approval of the govt. Due to the financial contradictions of the state govt. the plan isn’t proceeding. He informed he is apt to provide the houses stage wise.

He further informed as a meeting with the Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnis was a casual meet and not to create any other meanings to it. Since taking charge as Minister from February didn’t get time to meet him so just met casually to ask about well being. He said he will be glad with the ministry of Umesh Katti, Yogeshwar and his other colleagues.

The minister didn’t speak much about the politics and left the place after the inaugural.
