Alleging as the trails to overlap the govt. lake and lands and to sell them have been made the Kuruba community has set protest.

The protestors at the spot informed as the lands and the lakes at the Madihalli that are now being tried to sell are being used by the community since long back. They appealed the Tahshildar to conduct the survey and to stop the selling as well as to declare the lands as public property. They demanded the justice for the commons.

At the time more than 100 families that have been using the lands were gathered at the spot.
