The BJP State Unit President Nalin Kumar Kateel held a meet till late night at the private hote; of Hubli in regards to the DCC bank Elections as well as the LokSabha election of Belgavi.

To take a firm decision of the Belagavi Dist. Central Co-Op bank (DCC) Election as well as the LokSabha by election for the seat vacant due to the passing away of the Union Minister Suresh Angadi an urgent meet was called by the BJP state president. The Ministers of the Belagavi Koppal and the Dharwad constituency had participated in the meet along with some seniors of the party.

It is said as the final decision about the ticket to the candidate of both DCC bank election and the LokSabha election is supposed to be taken as the elections are nearing. The meeting was held for more than 4 hours in which many BJP senior leaders as well as the dist. unit Ministers including Union Minister Prahlad Joshi, MP Eranna Kadadi and many others were present and mended their opinions.

The meeting had been the interest of many medias as the MLA Umesh Katti once had stated as will be supporting the Anajali Nimbalkar of Congress at the DCC Bank Elections and on the other side the recently Prakash Hukkeri has stated as he will be supporting BJP if the ticket if allotted to the family member of the late union minister.
