Rahul, son of retired Army Officer Bhagat Singh, who was studying in IInd PU at Army School at Bengaluru ended his life by shooting himself to the left side of his head with a gun on Friday morning.

Rahul had a practice of getting up early in the morning and sometimes used to go walking by 3, 4 am. Likewise, he got up at around 3 am today and went out for walking with his father’s licensed gun. He got shot to the left side of his head.

His cellphone was switched off when his parents called him. Police informed his parents about the incident.

His parents are from Uttarakhand. Rahul was good in his studies and scored 90pc in SSLC. There was no pressure from his family for his studies. A case has been registered with the Sanjay Nagar police.
