The revenue minister R Ashok paid visit to the Hukkeri taluk on Monday and conducted a survey of the places affected by the heavy rain. The minister assured of the compensations by the time to the farmers.

The minister at the survey accompanied by the Dist. Incharge Minister Ramesh Jarkiholi noticed the losses occurred to the produces like Sunflower and the Cabbage. After this he visited the house of the victim who recently passed away due to the collapsing of the garage at Hukkeri.

After visiting some more affected places speaking to the medias the minister said have conducted the surveys at Kalburgi Raichur and Belagavi and have received all the data. The sanctions will be released in a same way as last year. The CM will also be conducting a scientific survey soon. He assured of trying to compensate more than the NDRF.

Some of the villagers are upset with the minister that were waiting as the minister will pay visit to the Municipality and there they can request him about their hardships.
