Dharward : As only 25 from 2217 people tested positive on Saturday the rate of positivity of COVID-19 at SDM was declined to 1.12pc from 16pc on Friday.

Deputy Commissinor Nitesh Patil said the rate of positivity was raised to 16pc as 281 of 1756 tested till Friday were found positive, however, only 25 of 2217 were found infected whose test report available on Saturday for which the rate declined to 1.12pc.

He said the infection restricted mainly to the students, doctors and health staff of SDM and not to patients and their attenders. He strict rules to prevent spreading of the virus to other places would be continued.
