Mangaluru : As remained absent to record his evidence for a case he filed, a Judicial Court at Sulya in Mangaluru district served a warrant against him on Wednesday. The court has instructed the Director General of Police of the State and Mangaluru Range Inspector of Police to produce him before it on Sept 29.

Shivakumar had an argument with Traders’ Association President of Bellare, Sayi Giridhar Pai, when he was the minister of Power in 2016 and had lodged a complaint with Sulya police against him. Pai was arrested and sent to jail.

Despite notices, Shivakumar remained absent to record his evidence at the court for which it served a warrant against him and instructed to produce him before it on Sept 29.
