Two persons from five-member group which entered Krishna river to take “Sankranti Bath” near Shaktinagar in Raichur drowned.

Ganesh, 43, and Udaykumar, 42, both residents of Raichur were the deceased. The body of Ganesh was fished out, which search is on for Udaykumar. Udaykumar is believed to be drowned.

Hundreds of people been to the river to take bath on Sankranti day on Friday.
