Close on the heels of four siblings from. Athani taluk drowned in Krishna river, another such a tragedy occurred in Khanapur taluk of the district where two youths who were missing since Monday drowned in Malaprabha river on Wednesday.The bodies of Shreyas Bapat, 13, and Rohit Patil, 15, were fished out from the river in the taluk. Both the deceased were from Durga nagar from Khanapur.The decease along with three other friends, without informing at their homes been to swim in the river. Three others fled on seeing Shreyas and Rohit washed in the river. Scared with the incident they did not go home for which their families had filed missing complaints with Khanapur taluk.Two youths drowned incident was known after the three missing youths left back home.It may be recalled that four brothers from Banasode family at Halyal village in Athani taluk washed away in Krishna river on Sunday, whose bodies were lifted up from the river on Tuesday and Wednesday.
