At the Ambedkar Bhavan of Gokak the first talent reception program was organized by the Madiga Society Service Commission of Mudalgi and Gokak taluka. The talented students (girls) of the community were felicitated at the event.

The KPCC President that arrived as the chief guest of the event addressed the program and said socially, economically in all the fields we are left behind. No matter how rich we become, we should know the history and till we know the history we won’t improve.

He added as we are yet the state of asking because we won’t pray the one who is supposed to be praised. We should be on the states of donating. Asking as why only the women of lower classes should become Devadasis? Why anyone among the rich won’t become Devadasis? He appealed as not to follow such superstitions. He gave a call as to use the money to the education of the children instead putting it into the temples donation boxes. The evil system of Manuwad (Manuism) should be dropped, Babashaeb Amabedkar and Basaveswar have fought for us our kids themselves are gods for us and should make efforts for them.

He finally gave a call to use the money for the kids development instead of wasting it at unwanted religious activities.
