Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said he has taken the outcome of the by-polls equally and described Congress has won Hanagal constituency because that party workers worked for people well during covid strike.

Speaking to news persons at his house on Wednesday, he said the result of the election is being analysed in many angle and the party would introspect the defeat at Hanagal constituency. The party failed to get encash the popularity of late CM Uadasi.

He thanked the people snd his party workers worked for the victory at Sundagi.

As Congress leader Siddaramaiah had said the result of the by-polls was the way to next election, he said what he would say about the result at Sundagi where his party has lost with major difference of votes. The lapses at Hanagal would be corrected for next election.
