Hubballi : A woman married just two month ago was beaten to death by her husband and in-laws, at Hubballi on Friday, Aug 27.

30-year-old Manjula Ganjigatti was married to Karibasappa, the resident of Raghavendra colony at Hubballi and during wedding he was given the demanded dowry. However, Karibasappa and his family members used to harass and torture her in want of additional dowry, allegedly.

Since Manjula not in a position to bring the additional dowry, had told her husband and in-laws that she could not was beaten by them allegedly and was admitted to the hospital and breathed her last.

The Vidyanagar police have registered a case.
