Fire broke out in about 400 meter radius to Idagundi village in Yellapur taluk of Karwar district due to exposure of gas tanker occurred at around 5.30am on Wednesday.

Fire Fighter and Emergency Services staff rushed to the spot and extinguished the fire. The truck carrying the tanker overturned which caused for the incident occurred on National Highway No. 63 which enriched with thick forest. It is being checked whether the tanker overturned was carrying gas or chemical.
